Samira Conley lost her life in February 2000 after sustaining injuries from a car accident. She was a wonderful person who touched those around her with her wicked sense of humor and her very caring nature. Now that she's gone a light has gone out in the world. She will be sorely missed, and quite frankly already is.

Samira, my best friend and fiancé, and now she's gone. I'll miss her forever. It's hard to believe that someone can touch you that deeply, but it is possible, and she made a major difference in my life. I know I'll never forget her. She was a bright life that shined on everything she touched (and man is she going to kick my ass for that one :).

I have so many memories of our time together. We did so many things in the short time we knew each other. Two and a half years just wasn't enough. I think the thing that always sticks out in my mind though, is that she was there. I always knew that if I needed her, just to vent, complain to, talk, laugh, anything, she was there, no matter what. I remember one time I was really depressed, can't remember why really anymore, but she cheered me up, just like she did so many other times. She always seemed to know how to make me smile.

She loved the beach and the ocean. She used to spend hours, walking on the beach. Whenever I get sad, or just want to reconnect with her, I go down to the beach...

She was the kind of person that always looked out for her friends.  I'll never regret having a chance to know her, just the fact that more people never had the chance to meet her.

Samira, I love you, and I'm sorry I never got to say good-bye, but I know I'll see you again someday.
